Saturday Morning, July 16, 2011 7:00AM, Tonopah Community Garden, 711 N. Tonopah Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89106 (North of Bonanza, between MLK and Rancho).
Take Root In The Garden. Experience a true oasis of sustainable agriculture and organic gardening in the heart of the desert. Play with the goats, meet the chicken, smell the fresh mint and lavender. Dress for gardening, painting and getting dirty! Wear sunblock, a hat and gloves.
SUGGESTED EVENT DONATIONS: 24 Pack of Bottled Water, Cans of Paint (New or Used), Foam/Bristle Roller Paintbrushes, and/or a Tax-Deductible Donation to the Tonopah Community Garden.
