Bullet Proof Plant Selections

The following plants are well adapted to extremes of heat, wind, drought and poor soil.  They are highly efficient water users and do best with deep, widely spaced irrigation once established in the landscape.  This listing covers many plants normally available in our area.  Proper soil preparation and water management can extend the range of plants suited for growth in these conditions.   When deciding on plants for your landscape, follow this simple routine, “plan your landscape, pick your specimens, plant them.”  Friendly Star Nursery consultants are ready to help in your quest.
